The objectives of the charity ('the objects') are:
- The support (by means of grants and otherwise) of charitable institutions having as or
among their objects the advancement of medical science or medical research or being in any
other way concerned with the sick and disadvantaged.
- The promotion and assistance of medical research and medical education generally.
- The provision for patients or staff of hospitals, nursing homes or similar institutions of
amenities that are calculated to increase the efficiency of such establishments or the comfort
or wellbeing of patients or staff.
- The provision of medical appliances and equipment of all kinds for use in hospitals,
nursing homes or similar institutions for the benefit of the public generally.
- The provision of financial assistance by way of grants and otherwise for persons who are
in necessitous circumstances and who are either sick or disadvantaged including persons who
are either wholly or partly incapacitated, whether permanently or temporarily, and for the
dependants of such persons being in necessitous circumstances.
- The making of subscriptions or contributions to any charitable object or body whose main
object is concerned with the sick and disadvantaged.
- The trustees must apply the income and at their discretion all or part of the capital, of the
charity in furthering the object.
